IGCAR Kalpakkam Recruitment 2014 – 108 Apprentice Posts: Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) has announced notification for the recruitment of 108 Apprentice Posts in various Trades. Eligible Candidates may send their applications on or before 17-03-2014 till 05:00 PM. 1. Fitter: 35 posts
2. Turner: 10 posts
3. Machinist: 10 posts
4. Electrician: 23 posts
5. Welder (G & E): 10 posts
6. Electronic Mechanic: 01 post
7. Instrument Mechanic: 04 posts
8. Mechanic R & A/C: 05 posts
9. Carpenter: 03 posts
10. PASAA: 05 posts
11. Gardner: 01 post
12. Horticulture Assistant: 01 post


Age limit: Candidates age up to 22 years as on 01-1-2014. Relaxable by 05 years in the case of SC/ ST candidates & 03 years for OBC candidates.


Educational Qualification: Candidate should posses 10th standard examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with ITI certificate in the relevant trade for S.No.1 to 9 posts, National Trade certificate issued by National Council for vocational training in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant” for S.No.10 post, 10th under 10+2 system or equivalent for S.No.11 & 12 posts.


Selection Process: Suitable candidates will be called for Interview.


How to Apply: Interested Candidates may send their Bio-data (available in the notification) along with attested copies of relevant certificate in support of date of birth, Educational, technical & other qualifications/ experience, if any, community certificatesof those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC & employment exchange registered card, the application in the prescribed format superscribed as :STIPENDIARY APPRENTICE” to The Assistant Administrative Officer [R], Recruitment Section, Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Kalpakkam, Kancheepuram District – 603 102 on or before 17-03-2014 till 05:00 PM.
