IGIMS Recruitment 2014 – Professor Posts: Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS), Patna has given employment notification for the recruitment of 26 Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts in various departments. Eligible candidates may send their applications on or before 08-03-2014 till 12.30 PM. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process, how to apply are given below…


IGIMS Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 26
Name of the Posts:
1. Professor: 10 Posts
2. Associate Professor: 01 Post
3. Assistant Professor: 15 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 50/ 63 years for Post 1, 50 years for Posts 2 & 3 as on 28-02-2014. The upper age of superannuation for faculty is 65 years. The age relaxation is applicable to Bihar State domicile only.


Educational Qualification: Candidates must have Post Graduate qualification i.e. M.D/ M.S or a recognized qualification in respective discipline/ subject and/ or M.Ch for Surgical Super-specialties and D.M for Medical Super-specialties or equivalent qualification.


Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Interview.


Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.500 (Rs.125/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, IGIMS, Patna payable at Patna.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format download from http://www.igims.org along with self attested copies of certificates/ testimonials including caste certificate and passport size photograph, in an envelope with Advt No and Name of the Post on the top in bold letter, send by registered/speed post/courier to the Director, IGIMS, Sheikhpura, Patna 14 (Bihar) on or before 08-03-2014 till 12.30 PM.


Last Date for Submission of Applications: 08-03-2014 till 12.30 PM.
