Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for Yantrik Posts: Indian Coast Guard under Ministry of Defence has issued a notification for the recruitment of Yantrik Posts. Indian Coast Guard Vacancy Details:
Name of the Post: Yantrik
(i) Mechanical
(ii) Electrical
(iii) Electronics

Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 18-22 years between 01-08-1992 to 31-07-1996. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ ST and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matriculation and three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Electronic Engg. with 60% in aggregate from Board/Institute recognized by Board of Central/State Government.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be selected based on weightage of marks, written test, physical fitness test.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in from 10-02-2014 to 17-02-2014. Shortlisting candidates should attend for interview along with 10th class certificate/ mark sheet showing date of birth, diploma certificate showing percentage of marks, caste certificate wherever required, Proof of identity card and games certificate, Ten recent colour passport size photographs.

Instructions for Applying Online:
1. Logon to www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in and click on opportunities button
2. Read the instructions before filling online.
3. Select the advertisement for Yantrik 3 year Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Diploma holders – 02/ 2014 batch.
4.Select the post applied for- Yantrik Posts.
5.Click on the ‘I Agree’ button and the ‘Online Application’ will be displayed.
6. Fill the online application with all the details.
7.On completion of filling application, check your filled details once again prior clicking on the Submit button.
8. On successful submission of the online application a Application/ Registration number will be provided to the candidate.
9.Take print out of two copies of the application with number generated by the system.

Important Dates:
Starting Date for Applying Online: 10-02-2014
Last Date for Applying Online: 17-02-2014.
The Filled Application Form with Roll Number, Date and Time of Exam will be Available from: 24-02-2014.
Date of Written Examination: During Mar/ Apr 2014.
