Kolkata Municipal Corporation Recruitment 2014 – 34 Asst & Sub-Asst Engineer Posts: Municipal service Commission, Kolkata has given employment notification for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) and Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electrical) posts under the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format on or before 28-02-2014 by 04.00 PM. Kolkata Municipal Corporation Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 34
Name of the Posts:
1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 11 Posts
2. Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 23 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates age should not less than 18 years and should not more than 37 years for general category as on 01-01-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or technical education or equivalent.


Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Preliminary Test, Written Test and Interview.


Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Rs.150/- with processing charge of Rs.50/- and bank will charge Rs.20/- (Only Processing charge of Rs.50/- and No Fee for SC, ST & PH category). Fee can be payable through all branches of United Bank of India and deposited to A/C No. 0088050006323 vide challan specially designed and available at Commission’s website www.mscwb.org.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply though prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of documents/ certificates in support of age, caste, qualification and experience (if any) etc & One part of the Challan meant for the commission, in an envelope superscribed with name of the post applied for and category of the candidate by ordinary post or drop in box kept at Commission’s Office, Municipal service Commission, 149, A.J.C Bose Road, Kolkata 700014 on or before 28-02-2014 by 04.00 PM.


Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 28-02-2014 by 04.00 PM.
