NIFT Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for 275 Asst Professor, RA & Other Posts: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has issued a notification for the recruitment of 275 Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Project Engineer, Deputy Director (F&A), Executive Engineer & Other Posts on contract/ deputation basis. Eligible candidates may apply online & send the printout copies of applications on or before 10-03-2014 by 5:30 PM. 8. Accounts Officer: 05 Posts
9. Computer Engineer: 08 Posts
10. Sr. Assistant (Accts): 10 Posts
11. JE: 10 Posts
(i) Electrical: 05 Posts
(ii) Civil: 05 Posts
12. Research Assistant (Admin): 04 Posts
13. Assistant (Accounts): 02 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 50 years for (Sr.No:1) Posts, 45 years for (Sr.No:2) Posts, 35 years for (Sr.No:3) Posts, 30-45 years for (Sr.No:4,5,6) Posts, 25-35 years for (Sr.No:7) Posts, 25-40 years for (Sr.No:7) Posts. Age relaxation will be 5 years for NIFT employees will be applicable as per rules. For other Posts age limit refer Notification.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess UG/ PG Diploma/ Degree in relevant area from a recognized institute or University for (Sr.No:1,2,3) Posts, ME (Civil Engineering) from a University/ Institute for (Sr.No:4) Posts, Cost Accountant from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants for (Sr.No:5) Posts. For other Posts qualification refer Notification.


Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test.


Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.1000/- for General candidates & Rs.500/- for SC/ ST/ PHP candidates for Professor Posts, Rs.500/- for General candidates & Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ PHP candidates for Other Posts through demand draft drawn in favour of NIFT payable at New Delhi. Candidates must write his/ her name, address and post applied for, on back of the demand draft.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online thorugh website http://www.nift.ac.in/ & send their printout copies of applications along with demand draft on or before 10-03-2014 by 5:30 PM to Registrar, NIFT Head Office, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016.
