NIVH Recruitment 2014 – Asst Professor, Research Officer & Other Posts: National Institute for Visually Handicapped (NIVH) , under Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India has published a notification for the recruitment of 09 Assistant Professor Special Education (V.I.), Research Officer, Reader, Adjunct Professor, PGT (Music), SUPW Teacher, Lady Supervisor and Handicraft Instructor posts. Age Limit: Candidates age should be 45 years for S.No.7, 40 Years for S.No.1 & 2, 36 years S.No.5, 35 years for .No.6, 30 Years for S.No.8. Age Limit relaxable as per Govt. of India’s rules for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped and Ex-serviceman.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Master’s Degree and M.Ed. Special Education (V.I.) or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI for S.No.1, Master’s Degree in Social Work/ Sociology/ Any other discipline of Social Science with 5 years experience for S.No.2, Ph.D in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline with 8 years experience for S.No.3, An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification(s) in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers for S.No.4, M.A. (Music) or M. (Music) of any recognized University. OR Sangeet Alankar (M.Music) from All India Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, Mumbai 08 years for S.No.5, Bachelor Degree in any discipline with one year Diploma in Computer applications and programming Skills for S.No.6, Intermediate or equivalent and Diploma in Nursing or S.No.7 and High School or equivalent and Diploma or certificate in candle making, Nylon and Plastic work and Soap Making for S.No.8.

Application Fee: Candidates need to pay Demand Draft of Rs. 200/- (non refundable) drawn in favour of the Director, NIVH, payable at Dehradun. The SC/ ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates are required to submit DD of Rs. 100/- only. Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from above fee.
