Educational Qualification: Candidates should have First Class Post Graduates with Ph.D in relevant discipline and having consistently very good academic record with 3 years experience.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on interview.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- for general and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates in the Account of Director, NIT Silchar in State Bank of India A/C No – 10521277057, IFSC Code – SBIN0007061.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply from the website http://www.nits.ac.in/ on or before 03-04-2014 and submit hard copy of application along with the relevant documents & Transaction slip for the fees, NOC, Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of interview and send to Registrar, NIT Silchar, Silchar – 788010, Assam on or before 17-04-2014.
Online Instructions:
1. Before applying Keep the soft copy of your photograph in JPEG format (file size not to exceed 2MB) and make payment as mentioned above.
2. Log on to http://www.nits.ac.in/
3. Click on Apply Online.
4. Candidates are requested to use different e-mail ids for different posts, i.e., email id is required for one post which can not be used for another.
5. Click on “Go for registration” to get registered. User-id (email-id) and password given to you.
6. Click on “Go for Applying” link and login with your access credentials.
7. Fill all the details.
8. Once you are done, lock the details. Once locked the entries are not editable.
9. Click on Submit button.
10. Upon completion of this process the application reference number is sent to your email.
