Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 23 years as on 01-08-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per GOI instructions.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should posses Matriculation or 10thclass pass from a recognized Board/ University.
Sports Qualification: Sportsperson who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any of the games/ sports or who have represented their University in the Inter University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Board in any of the sports/ games.
Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Height Bar/ Test, Identity check, Checking of Testimonials/ documents, Physical Standard Test, Trial in respective sports discipline, Medical Examination & interview.

BSF Recruitment 2014 – 496 ASI (RM), HC (RO & Fitter) Posts: Communication & IT Directorate (Communication Wing), Border Security Force (BSF) has released notification for recruitment of 496 ASI (RM), HC( RO) and HC (Fitter) in Communication Setup-Aug-2014. 2. HC (RO): 417 Posts
3. HC (Fitter): 11 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age not below 18 years and above 25 years for General category, 18-28 years for OBC category and between 18-30 years for SC & ST category as on 07-07-2014.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Matric with 3 year Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication for Post No.1, Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics for Post No.2 and Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board or Institution and two years Industrial Training Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic for Post No.3.
Selection Process: Candidates would be selected based on their performance in written examination, PST, PET, Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay the crossed bank draft/ Indian Postal Order for Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for General and OBC category as the examination fee in favour of the Inspector General/ DIG/Comdt to whom the application is addressed payable at respective SBI/ Post Office. SC/ST & BSF serving personnel and female candidates candidates of all categories are not required to submit examination fees.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can send their applications in the prescribed format along with self attested photocopy of educational qualification and date of birth, three recent passport size photographs duly self attested, caste certificates, application fee, two self addressed envelope of 25X12 cms size with full postal addressed of candidate neatly written on envelope affixed with stamps of Rs.27/- on each, enclosed in an envelope super scribed with “Application for the post of ASI/RM and HC (RO)/HC/Fitter”, should reach to concerned recruitment centers as mentioned in notification on or before 07-07-2014.
