DIAT Recruitment 2014 – Walk in for JRF/Project Asst, SRF, RA Posts: Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Deemed University, Pune has advertised a notification for the recruitment of JRF/Project Asst, SRF, RA Vacancies a sponsored project entitled “DRDO-DIAT programme on Nano-materials” is commissioned in the Departments of Applied Physics and Materials Science & Engineering at DIAT (DU), Pune-25. Name of the Post:
I. For Materials Science & Engineering discipline
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Assistant: 02 Posts
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 02 Posts
3. Research Associate (RA): 02 Posts
II. For Applied Physics discipline
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Assistant: 01 Post
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 01 Post


Age Limit: Candidates age should not exceeding 28 years for JRF, 32 years for SRF, 35 years for RA. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Tech (Chemical/ Polymers /Nanotechnology/ Materials Engineering/ Metallurgy/ Textiles/ Surface Coating Technology) for JRF, as required for JRF with 2 years research experience and one journal paper for SRF, Ph.D (Physics/Chemical/Polymers/ Nanotechnology/Materials) for RA.


Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can attend the interview along with prescribed application format, original Testimonials/ Certificates of the Educational Qualifications, Date of Birth, Experience etc (together with a set of attested copies of each) on 20-05-2014 at 10:00 Hrs at Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), Deemed University, Pune.
