Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit is 45 years for Post 1, 40 years for Posts 2 to 9, 50 years for Post 10, 30 years for Post 11 and 27 years for Post 12 as on 06-05-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess M.D in Psychiatry/ M.D in Psychological Medicine for Post 1, D.M Neurology/ Specialty Board of Neurology (USA) for Post 2, M.Ch Neurosurgery/ Specialty Board of Neurosurgery for Post 3, M.D Anaesthesia/ M.S Anaesthesia for Post 4, M.A/ M.Sc degree in Statistics for Post 5, M.A/ M.S.W degree in Medical Psychiatric Social Work for Post 6, M.A/ M.Sc degree in Psychology for Post 7. Refer to the notification for post wise qualification details.
Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.750/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of Challan (download from institute’s website) through any computerized National Bank to State Bank of Mysore, NIMHANS Branch, Bengaluru, S.B Account No: 64118462718 & IFSC Code No: SBMY0040675. Candidates residing abroad can pay US $ 25 towards application fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with original challan, attested copies of certificates in support of age proof, academic qualifications, marks sheets, experience, caste certificate (as per Annexure A) etc addressed to The Director, NIMHANS, P.B No 2900, Hosur Road, Bangalore 560029, India on or before 06-05-2014.
