NIRJAFT Recruitment 2014 – Technical Asst & Sr Technician Posts: National Institute of Research on Jute & Allied Fibre Technology (NIRJAFT) has posted employment notification for the recruitment of Technical Assistant (Technician) and Senior Technician vacancies at NIRJAFT, Kolkata under the Administrative Control of ICAR. 1. Technical Assistant (Technician): 03 Posts
2. Senior Technician: 01 Post

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years to 30 years as on closing date for receipt of applications. The upper age relaxation is 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PH, 13 years for PH-OBC and 15 years for PH-SC/ ST candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Agri Engg/ Textile/ Fibre Technology/ Textile Design/ Mechanical Engg or B.Sc in Agriculture/ Chemistry (Hons)/ Pure Science with Physics/ Electronics for Post 1 and Madhyamik with certificate course in Electronics/ Electronics Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Computer Operator & Programming Assistant for Post 2.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Test or Viva Voce.

Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay Rs.500/- in the form of Bank Draft in favour of ICAR NIRJAFT to be drawn on SBI Tollygung Branch Kolkata. No fee for SC/ ST/ Women/ PH candidates.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send their applications in prescribed format along with passport size photograph duly attached and attested copies of certificates from Gazetted Officer in support of educational qualification, age, mark sheets & caste certificates, in an envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of ……………… Sl No …………..” addressed to Director, National Institute of Research on Jute and Allied Fibre Technology (ICAR), 12 Regent Park, Kolkata 700040 with in 30 days and 45 days for remote areas from date of publication of advertisement.
