PGCIL Recruitment 2014 – Apply Online for Dy Manager, Sr Engineer Posts: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) invites applications for recruitment of the Dy Manager (Electrical) & Sr Engineer (Electrical) Vacancies. Eligible candidates can apply Online from 31-05-2014 to 27-06-2014 by 5:00 PM. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, selection process and how to apply are given below….


PGCIL Vacancy Details:
Total No of Posts: 15
Name of the Posts:
1. Dy. Manager (Electrical)/ E4: 05 Posts
2. Sr. Engineer (Electrical)/ E3: 10 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates upper age should be 39 years for Sl No 1 Post, 36 years for Sl No 2 Post as on 27-06-2014. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC/ SC (Only for Sl no 2 Post)/ PWD candidates.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Eng)/ AMIE in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Power Systems Engineering or equivalent with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA, M.Tech or Ph.D. in Power System Analysis or Power System Engineering.


Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on Scrutiny of Applications and Personal interview.


Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.400/-through a non-refundable A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.”, payable at New Delhi (preferably drawn on State Bank of India) and no fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-SM candidates.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website http://www.powergridindia.com from 31-05-2014 to 27-06-2014 by 5:00 PM. After submission of online applications, take print out of the submitted application form along with A/C Payee Demand Draft, Documents related to Essential Qualification, Other Qualifications, Experience, Proof of Date of Birth, etc send through ordinary post to The Advertiser (PG), Post Box No. 9248, Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, Delhi- 110051 on or before 11-07-2014.

1. Log on to the website http://www.powergridindia.com/.
2. Click on Careers—-> Appropriate Link.
3. Click on Apply Online.
4. Fill all the details and click on Submit button.
5. Take print out of application and send to the above mentioned address.


Important Dates:
Date of Commencement of Online Application: 31-05-2014
Last Date for Submission of Online Applications: 27-06-2014 by 5:00 PM.
Last Date for Receipt of Hard Copy of Application: 11-07-2014.
