Name of the Posts:
1. Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions): 01 Post
2. Scientific Assistant (Directorate of Plant Protection Quarantine and Storage): 05 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be up to 30 years for Sl No 1 Post and between 18 years to 25 years for Sl No 2 Post as on 30-05-2014. Age Relaxation is applicable for SC/ Departmental candidates and Central Govt Servants.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Master’s Degree in Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor’s degree level or Master’s Degree in History with Ancient Indian History as a subject and Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telugu/ Kannada as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s degree level for Sl No 1 Post and B.Sc with Botany or Zoology or B.Sc, in Agriculture for Sl No 2 Post.
Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on screening test/ written proficiency test, Interview/ skill test.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs.50/- through CRFS available at all departmental Post Offices of the country. These stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space provided. These CRFS are canceled from the counter clerk of any post office including the post office of issue with the date stamp of post office in such a manner that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of the date and the post office of issue at any subsequent stage and no fee for Women candidate/ SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen.
How to Apply: Candidates can apply in prescribed format along with CRFS, One recent passport size photograph to be pasted on the application, 2 self-addressed envelopes of 12 cms x 25 cms size, one of which should be affixed with postage stamps of Rs.6/-, attested copies of certificates and mark statements pertaining to all the years showing age, educational qualifications, experience, Documents in support of claim of age relaxation, etc send to the Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission, 1st Floor, ‘E’ Wing, Kendriya Sadan, Koramangala, Bangalore – 560034 on or before 30-05-2014.
