Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 28 years for UR candidates, 33 years for SC candidates as on 18-06-2014. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess 1st Class Diploma in Electronics and Communication in Engineering/ Technology of atleast 3 years full time duration.
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test, interview.
Application Fee: Candidates should pay Rs.100/- through Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of “The Director, CSIR-SERC”, payable at Chennai. SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women/ CSIR Employees/ Abroad Candidates are exempted from fee.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online http://www.serc.res.in/ on or before 18-06-2014 & send their printout copies of applications along with recent passport size photograph, attested copy of matriculation/ SSLC as proof of age/ degree/ provisional degree certificate, copies of mark sheets for all the semesters/ years, SC/ ST/ OBC certificate, work experience certificates, testimonials etc on or before 30-06-2014 to The Controller of Administration, CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre, CSIR-Campus, Post Bag No:8287, CSIR Road, Taramani, Chennai-600113. The documents containing envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of Technical Assistant”.
Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Log on through the website http://www.serc.res.in/.
2. Click on the Recruitment —> Select the Appropriate Position.
3. Click on the Apply Online Link.
4. Fill all the details & enter the details of Demand Draft.
5. Upload the photograph, signature in the given format.
6. Submit the application, an unique registration code will be generated.
7. Note down the code, take the printout copies of application.
8. Attach the attested copies of all relevant documents and send it to the concerned address.
