Uttarakhand Police Recruitment 2014 – 339 Police Sub Inspector & Commander Posts: Uttarakhand Police Department, Dehradun has released notification for recruitment of 339 Police Sub Inspector, Dy Inspector & Platoon Commander vacancies. Uttarakhand Police Department Vacancy details:
Total No. of Posts: 339
Name of the Post:
1. Sub Inspector Civil Police: 257 Posts
2. Deputy Inspector Intelligence: 39 Posts
3. Platoon Commander PAC: 43 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates age limit must be between 21 to 28 years as on 01-07-2014, i.e should not born before 01-07-1986 and after 01-07-1993. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelors Degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Intermediate is the minimum educational qualification for Ex-servicemen.


Examination Fee: Candidates has to pay examination fee of Rs 25/- for SC/ ST category and Rs.100/- for other categories, in the form of treasury challan to the State Treasury.


Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical Standard Test & Written Test.


How to Apply: Eligible and interested candidates may submit their application in prescribed format available in the notification complete in all respect along with examination fee, attested copies of educational certificate/ mark sheet, character certificate, employment office registration certificate, 11X4 inch size two self addressed envelopes affixed with Rs.5/- postal stamp and two recent passport size photograph, etc, must reach at the District SSP/SP Office of Uttarakhand (recruitment centre) by Post or by hand on or before 25-06-2014 till 05:00 PM.


Last date for Receipt of Application: 25-06-2014 till 05:00 PM.
