Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 to 27 years as on 16-02-2015. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Matriculation/ SSC from a recognised University/ Board.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on aptitude test & merit list.

Application & Examination Fee: Candidates should have to pay an application fee of Rs 100/- (Cost of Application form Registration) & examination fee of Rs. 400/- (for OC/ OBC candidates) through “SUNAYASAM” in any Head Post office in Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana States listed in the Annexure. No examination fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates. The Fee is to be credited under Sunayasam Head: Postman Recruitment 2015 at the Head Post office.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates can apply online through the website “www.appost.in” on or before 16-02-2015.

Instructions to Apply Online:
1. Before applying online, candidates need to scan their photo & signature (.jpg format).
2. Candidates can apply online only after 24-72 hours of crediting amount in Post Offices.
3. Log on to the website “www.appost.in”.
4. Select the desired post & Click on the link “Click here to apply online to Postman/MailGaurd Recruitment 2015?.
5. Read the instructions carefully & Check for vacancies available in each division and Enter the given Capture & Click on “Submit” button.
6. Based on the category being applied, pay amount in any Head Post Office in AP and Telangana.
7. A unique number will be communicated to your mobile number (unique number is also available in your receipt).
8. After receipt of unique number to your mobile number you can apply online & minimum of three hours is needed to apply online after paying eligible amount in post office.
9. Enter a Unique number & Click “Submit” button.
10. Fill all the details of online application and upload photo & signature and Submit the Form.
11. After Submission, take a print out copy of online application for future use.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must be passed in 10+2 Standard or 12th Class from a recognised University/ Board of School Education Board of Secondary Education with English as a compulsory subject for Post 1, Passed in Matriculation/ I.T.I for Posts 2 & 3.

Sports Qualification: Candidates who have represented the country in an International competition, represented a State/ Union Territory in the Senior or Junior Level National Championship, represented a University in an Inter-University competition, represented the State Schools in the National Sports/ Games for Schools, awarded National Award in physical efficiency under National Physical Efficiency Drive.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Educational and Sports qualification.

Application Fee: Candidates need to Pay an application fee of Rs 100/- in any Post Office in A.P Postal Circle and should submit original receipt along with application. Candidates residing outside of A.P Postal Circle, have to enclose an Indian Postal Order of Rs 400/- in favour of Chief Postmaster General, A.P Circle, Hyderabad 500001.

How to Apply: Eligible & Meritorious Sports Persons may send their applications in prescribed format along with two identical passport size photographs, copies of relevant certificates duly attested by a Gazetted Officer and a self addressed envelope of size 9? x 4' by affixing postage stamp of Rs.17/- for local candidates and Rs 40/- for outstation candidates along with application, in an envelope superscribed with “Application for the post of Postal/ Sorting Assistant, Postman & MTS in A.P Circle under Sports Quota” send by speed post addressed to the Chief Postmaster General (Rectt & Wlf Section), A.P Circle, Dak Sadan, Hyderabad 500001 on or before 19-01-2015.
