PGCIL Recruitment 2015 – Apply Online for Engineer & Supervisor Posts: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has issued notification for the recruitment of Field Engineer (Electrical), Field Engineer (Civil), Field Supervisor (Electrical), Field Supervisor (Civil) vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 25-03-2015 at 00:00 hrs to 08-04-2015 at 23:59 hrs. Other details like age, educational qualification, selection process & how to apply are given below…


PGCIL Vacancy Details:
Total No. of Posts: 21
Name of the Posts:
1. Field Engineer (Electrical): 08 Posts
2. Field Engineer (Civil): 04 Posts
3. Field Supervisor (Electrical): 07 Posts
4. Field Supervisor (Civil): 06 Posts


Age Limit: Candidates upper age should be 29 years for General, 32 years for OBC, 34 years for SC as on 14-04-2015. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.


Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg)/ B.E (Power Engg)/AMIE in Electrical Discipline from recognized university/ Institute for post 1, B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc(Engg)/ AMIE in Civil Discipline from recognized university/ Institute for post 2, Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Board/ Institute for post 3, Diploma in Civil Engineering from recognized Board/ Institute for post 4.


Selection Procedure: Candidates are selected based on Screening Test/ Interview.


Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs. 300/- for Field Engineer, Rs. 200/- for Field Supervisor deposit prescribed application fees + bank charges of Rs. 60/- to SBI. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Ex-servicemen candidates.


How to Apply: Eligible candidates may apply online through the website www.powergridindia.com from 25-03-2015 at 00:00 hrs to 08-04-2015 at 23:59 hrs.

1. Before applying online candidates should have valid email id & pass word.
2. Log on to the website www.powergridindia.com
3. Click on careers——–> Job opportunities.
4. Select the desired post.
5. Click on Apply.
6. Fill all mandatory details of application form.
7. Click on Submit Button.
8. Take print out for future use.

Opening Date for Online submission of Application: 25-03-2015 (00.00 hrs.)
Closing Date of Online submission of Application: 08-04-2015(23:59 hrs.)
Opening Date of Depositing fees in any SBI branch through POWERGRID Challan: 28-03-2015.
Closing date of depositing fees in any SBI branch through POWERGRID Challan 14.04.2015.
Tentative date of next announcement on Website: 24-04-2015.
Cut-off Date for the purpose of Upper Age limit & Post qualification experience : 14-04-2015.
