Jr Research Fellow (JRF), Sr Research Fellow (SRF), Research Intern &
various vacancies on purely temporary contract basis for various projects.

1. Project Assistant: 04 Posts
2. JRF (Project): 05 Posts
3. Project Fellow: 16 Posts
4. Research Associate: 07 Posts
5. Senior Project Fellow: 09 Posts
6. Research Intern: 02 Posts
7. SRF (Project): 03 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be 28 years for S.No-1 to 3, 35 years for S.No-4, 32 years for S.No-5 & 7, 25 years for S.No-6. Age relaxations are applicable as per Govt. norms.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess first class M.Sc in Life Science, Microbiology, Immunology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Bio-informatics, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology for S.No-1 & 2, M.Sc/ M.V.Sc/ M.Pharma/ B.Tech in relevant disciplines for S.No-3, PhD or MD in relevant disciplines for S.No-4. Refer the notification for complete details.
Selection Process: Candidates are selected based on their performance in interview.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates can attend for walk in interview along with complete bio-data in the prescribed format duly filled & signed, enclosing self-attested photocopies of certificates/ testimonials in support of Date of Birth, Qualifications/ Experience, etc., one recent passport size photograph, Original certificates for verification in the Seminar Hall of this Institute (CSIR-Institute of Microbial Technology, Sector 39/A, Chandigarh-160 036) on 29-07-2015.
